DIY Salt Scrub

There is absolutely everything to love about DIY projects. It’s unquestionably rewarding to make something for yourself (or a loved one). The best part, you have ultimate creative freedom and can make products exactly how you want to. Badger is happy to share a simple DIY salt scrub that’s easy to make, fun to craft, and will surely be adored.

Salt is a truly remarkable ingredient for your skin. Sea salts and Epsom salts (also known as magnesium sulfate) are both staples in the beauty industry. Why? It’s simple; salts are packed with nutrient-rich minerals that can help rejuvenate the skin. When Badger’s Unscented Body Oil is used to create a salt scrub, the outcome is amazing! Your DIY salt scrub will gently exfoliate and nourish, and can help reveal your radiant skin! Another way to use this product is as a pre-shave scrub. Just remember to rinse the salt scrub off thoroughly before applying shave foam (we’ve learned through trial and error that salt deflates shave foam).

To make your salt scrub smell amazing, organic essential oils can be added. Remember, essential oils are strong, so a small amount will add a lot of scent! The formula shared here includes essential oils of eucalyptus, rosemary, peppermint, and tea tree. This scent profile smells great, so rub it in while you’re in the shower, breathe deeply, and enjoy!

DIY Salt Scrub Formula:
